Dr. Murthy emphasizes the vital importance of community in achieving true fulfillment and well-being. He identifies three foundational pillars:

  • Relationships: Building and nurturing meaningful connections with those around us.

  • Service: Engaging in acts of kindness and assistance to strengthen communal bonds.

  • Purpose: Seeking a deeper meaning in life beyond materialistic pursuits.

To realize this he highlights the centrality of love.

“To build community requires love. Love not as sentimentality, but as a commanding force with the power to build, strengthen, and heal. Love as generosity and kindness. Love as hope and grace. Love as courage.” Dr. Vivek Murthy
